![]() ![]() Growing up I always thought games were made by teams of 100s of people by gigantic companies and discounted the idea of ever making one myself however, as I learned more I realized a lot of the games I played growing up were made by a few dozen people, and with the introduction of platforms like the Apple App Store, a single developer could make something and release it for anyone to play. I like each player to have their own identity, both within the story and the gameplay, and ideally be able to experiment with their skills and abilities to find interesting combinations between the players.How did you first get involved with game design? There have been a mix of childhood games like Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6, and Final Fantasy Tactics that inspired aspects of the game however as I was developing it I started getting into the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series which ended up having a very large impact on the development as well. ![]() Personable characters, rich world history and a fully realized storyline are combined with beautiful water-coloured 2d graphics for an artistic and narrative experience, while multi-class levelling, and turn-based battles allow for the customization and immersion which are staples of roleplaying.What games inspire you? ![]() I've been fortunate to get to work with some extremely talented people during the game's development and am very happy with the result.Įmergent Fates is a Japanese inspired Role Playing Game for iOS about finding identity and purpose in a world where your fate has already been decided.
